Mario Galaxy was one of the first games I had with my Wii.
It was so fun exploring the different galaxies and listening to
the music that each galaxy had. I don't have a favorite galaxy since
all of them were so fun to explore. But I will say that my favorite galaxies
have water levels in them. I've always liked water, the ocean, a pool, a
waterpark, literally anything having to do with me getting in water lolol.
I remember wanting to play this game when I was in elementary school. I had done
simple research to see how I can play this game and this kickstarted my Playstation
era lolol. I got the ps3 for Christmas, along with the Little Big Planet game and I
was hooked to say the least. A friend I used to go to school with, we played everyday
after school. It's like we couldn't get enough of each other or something pffft.
We definitely matched each other's weird at the time. My favorite element in the game
was the slap function. We could control our avatars to slap another avatar. The sound
it makes paired with the animation still makes me chuckle.
This game was THE game for me in 2016. I originally got the ps4 to play Little Big Planet 3, but the ps4 came with a remastered version of the game, along with Uncharted: A Thief's End. Another game that went platnium at my house, but I'll talk about that game later. Last of Us, the first one of course, made me love the survival horror genre. It was my first taste of the genre and it's why I still love it til this day. The game is divided into seasons, and my favorite section of the game is fall. Mainly towards the end. It's just Ellie and Joel riding on a horse around a university, I believe looking for clues of where the Fireflies are. It's the most chill section of all time. Just you, Ellie, Joel, the horse lolol, and the pretty fall scenery. Yea, infected are still present in this section, but I found it charming.
This game deepened my love for history and puzzle games due to the simple fact of Nathan Drake always looking for some treasure and the puzzles I had to solve to get to the treasure. I don't want to spoil anything for any of the games I mention in case anyone hasn't played, but my favorite part that I remember (cuz it's been awhile) was towards the end where Nathan and his enemy are fighting for the treasure in an abandoned ship. I think the ship caught on fire and we still had to fight the enemy. Like dudeeee, that was crazy. I've played the whole series and I couldn't tell you which game was my favorite. I've loved every minute and every puzzle I've solved, no matter how difficult. Of course, the witty banter between characters as they take turns stealing the treasure from each other is always a blast to see.
